I have a goal. I want to be a published author. Completion of the goal has three self-imposed requirements for success:
1) I must be paid for my work by a legitimate publisher. I will not self-publish.
2) I have to do a book signing at a bookstore. This counts even if only my family shows up.
3) I have to have my picture taken next to my book on a bookshelf. (I fall right between Robert Heinlein and Frank Herbert- a pretty nice place to be.)
